Jimmie, my friend, this is the sort of question that you don’t want to fool around with… You already know that. If you stop paying and are still required by law to pay, you will have major problems. I don’t want to provide an answer because I don’t want to bear the responsibility if a law has been updated or otherwise changed. Laws do change and I always caution people to be very careful… particularly when you’re talking about child support!!!!!
The family court may not take mom’s frustrating dad’s visitation too seriously most of the time; but, you can bet your ass that they take dad’s nonpayment of due child support serious every time.
For that reason I recommend you use this service: you can get an actual lawyer to answer your question for $15 or $30 bucks… and, you can feel secure that the answer is spot-on….
