  1. Relationship of the child to each parent prior to the commencement of the action or any subsequent hearing.
  2. Desires and wishes of the child if of an age of comprehension when such desires and wishes are based on sound reasoning.
  3. General health, welfare, and social behavior of the minor child.
  4. Credible evidence of abuse inflicted on any family or household member.
  5. In determining custody arrangements and the time to be spent with each parent, the court shall not give preference to either parent based on the sex of the parent and presumption shall exist that either parent is more fit or suitable than the other.
